The UConn Math REU has been continuously funded by the NSF as an REU Site since 2013. It is a 10 week summer research program for approximately 10 undergraduates (annually) at the University of Connecticut. The program primarily targets undergraduates with limited or no access to research experience at their home institutions, and involves a significant effort to recruit and enroll students from under-represented groups in the mathematical sciences. The main goal is to inspire these students with the possibilities afforded by mathematical research and work in mathematical fields, with the intention of increasing the likelihood that they continue to graduate school and/or a career in a mathematically intensive area.

Details about past students, their projects, and our research results, can be found at the UConn Math REU Website.
